The 4th Joint Committee Meeting between Government of the State of Qatar and Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh was held in Dhaka. The Qatar Delegation was led by Brigadier Mohammed Ahmed M Al Atiq Al Dossary, Assistant Director General, Directorate of Border Passports and Expatriates Affairs, Ministry of Interior, and was consisted of the membership of Mr. Ibrahim Abdulla Al-Dehaimi, Chairman, Permanent Recruitment Committee, Ministry of Administrative Development Labour and Social Affairs, Mr. Fouaiz Mohammed Nasser Al-Rayes, Recruitment Department Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs. And the Bangladesh Delegation was led by Begum Shamsun Nahar, Secretary In-Charge, Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment (MoEWOE), and consisted of the membership of Mr. Jabed Ahmed, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, Mr. Mizanur Rahman, Director General of West and Central Asia, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and a number representatives from the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
At the end of the meeting His Excellency Mr. Nurul Islam, the Minister of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, of Bangladesh welcomed H.E. Mr. Ahmed bin Mohamed Al-Dehaimi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar in Bangladesh and Qatar Delegation for the 4th Joint Committee Meeting between Government of the State of Qatar and Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on Labour Employment from Bangladesh in Qatar. Talks during the meeting dealt with developing mutual cooperation in the field of labour employment from Bangladesh to Qatar. The Minister praised the favours and facilities which the Bangladeshi workers received in the State of Qatar and also expressed the willingness of his country to participate in the tremendous development and the renaissance which are taking place in the state of Qatar in all fields, especially the preparations to host the Word Cup–2022 and the Qatar Vision-2030.
