Diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and the People's Republic of Bangladesh was established on January 25, 1978. As the Republic of Bangladesh opened its Embassy in Doha on 29/12/1981 and the State of Qatar opened its embassy in Dhaka in 15/1/1980. And bilateral relations between the two countries have been developed and deepened gradually over the past years, especially through mutual visits at the Highest Levels.
