Dear Brothers,
I am pleased to welcome you to the official website of the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the People's Republic of Bangladesh, hoping that the website will provide important knowledge and information about the host country Bangladesh and be a window through which you will find the services provided by the embassy.
Since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the State of Qatar and the People's Republic of Bangladesh on 25 January 1978 and opening embassy in Dhaka on 15 January 1980, the brotherly ties have deepened gradually, as Qatar and Bangladesh enjoy with the excellent and deep relations fostered by history, culture, religion and common values.
The development of Qatari-Bangladesh relations in this growing and regular form was the result of the appreciated efforts made by the predecessor ambassadors who continued to develop these relations, and thanks to all these efforts, the Qatari-Bangladesh relations continued at a solid and steady pace.
Dear brothers, a large number people of the Bangladeshi community are currently working in Qatar and are receiving all necessary comforts and cares which have been assured for them by the laws in this regard. The Bangladeshi labor force makes a significant contribution to the economic and social development of the two brotherly countries and will continue to do so in the coming days; as Bangladesh is still able to provide an adequate workforce.
On the other hand, the Government of Bangladesh has reformed its investment policy significantly with a clear vision to attract foreign investment. There are a large number of new potential and promising sectors for investment, such as energy and infrastructure development, seaports, airports, telecommunications, small and medium industries and many other sectors, which can attract the Qatari investors, and they can be benefitted from the facilities and incentives provided by the government to the investors.

Date of Birth: 7 January 1971.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor of Science and Education (Biology) in 1998 at Qatar University.
Work Experience
- Joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993.
- Worked in the Protocol Department from 1993-1999.
- Participated in the 55th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York in 2000.
- Worked in the Minister's office from 1999 - 2002.
- Worked at the Embassy of the State of Qatar in Senegal from 2002- 2005.
- Worked at the Consulate General of the State of Qatar in Dubai from 2005-2010.
- Worked at the Department of Cooperation Council Affairs from 2010-2013.
- Worked as the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Senegal and non-resident Ambassador to the Republic of Guinea Conakry and Guinea-Bissau from 2013 - 2019.
- Appointed as the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the People's Republic of Bangladesh from 12/02/2022 till date.
- Participated in many regional and international conferences.
- Received the rank of Ambassador in 2015.
- Obtained the highest financial rank of the Ambassador on 01/05/2022.
